Elliott Off-Site Building Solutions has recently been commissioned by Moonstone Therapy Centre to design and build the new West of England MS Centre, at Bradley Stoke, North Bristol.
The purpose-built facility will enable care to be provided to around 450 people. Other recently completed high-profile healthcare projects have included work at the Manchester Royal Infirmary, the Maple Ward at Scarborough Royal Infirmary, and the outpatient department and offices at the Glan Clwyd Hospital, Rhyl. The company’s complete design and build service includes (CAD), 3D drawings, isometric images, and “conceptual walkthroughs”, along with acoustic, mechanical, and electrical design. It uses a hybrid off-site building system that combines steel frame, timber panels, and concrete ground and upper floors. Claimed benefits include up to 50% quicker completion than via traditional construction, reduced waste, lower cost, and improved health and safety/risk assessment.
