Hospital Metalcraft has introduced a new hospital portering chair with adaptable features including “dual auto brakes”. The brakes automatically restrict the rear wheels when the handle on the push bar is released, which when combined with the front steer capability gives the ultimate in chair control.
A number of flexible options are available including
seat belts, coin locks, oxygen cylinder holders, infusion poles and additional
storage space.
Featuring
a welded tubular steel frame and long tapered wheelbase, it offers high levels
of stability, patient protection, and reduced parked area. The large retractable
footrest, drop down armrests, fully upholstered seat and high back assist
patient positioning and comfort. “Puncture proof” cushioned castors are fitted
throughout, while the combination of front steering and large castors assist manoeuvrability.
A “document/X-ray holder” is fitted as standard to the rear of the seat, giving
protection for important documents from bending/damage during transportation.
