The new Siesta Flashstreamer air purifier is claimed to be the most effective and technically advanced air purifier available.
Advanced air purification
The product, available from Space Air Conditioning,
greatly reduces dust and dust mites from the air both staff and patients
breathe. It is light, portable, free standing or wall mountable and able to
cover an area up to 48 m2. Space Air Conditioning says the product, which
removes 52 toxins and dioxins as well as reducing odours by 95%, is
99.9% effective against Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas
aeruginosa, Bacillus
subtilis, E.coli, MRSA and the
influenza virus. It also destroys dust mites and dust mite spores and removes
and decomposes the pollen spores that cause hayfever symptoms. The Siesta
Flashstreamer is silent when running on “Auto” which makes it ideal for use on
a ward as it will not wake patients.
