Altro’s new Multiscreed EP Naturals product incorporates a “highperformance” three-part, solvent-free epoxy resin system which the company says results in a high strength floor screed with “low potential for slip, and exceptional abrasion and chemical resistance”.
Containing “up to 25% post-consumer recyclate”, it is said to have “designer appeal” thanks to “tones evoking natural stone and polished concrete, and accent colours to contrast”. Nine colourways are available, in either a silk or matt finish. Replacing Altro’s previous Altro Multiscreed and Altro Pastelscreed ranges, and claimed to be easier both to fit and clean, Multiscreed EP Naturals is installed at a nominal thickness of 4 mm, and can be coved and laid to steps or drainage falls. It is “underwritten” by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty. Altro SoloSafe screed (pictured), meanwhile, is said now to “perform even better” – thanks to a “new and improved formulation”. Rapicure technology “ensures reduced downtime” for the 5 mm depth, low odour, quartz screed,which is said to be “ideal” for areas where speed of installation and a rapid return to service are essential.
