Designed for use with bariatric patients, Trumpf Medical’s new Titan mobile operating table is “extremely strong and durable”, with electric motor-driven movement, high and low-level adjustment, precise positioning, and an intuitive remote control system, “all greatly facilitating the handling process”.
Accessories and auxiliary systems can be added to the modular system, which features an “almost entirely wear-resistant coupling system”, and “provides an exceptional range of manual and motorised adjustment for both the column and table top”. Although suitable for loads up to 450 kg, the table requires little effort to move, with the electric motors “doing the heaviest work” during patient transportation, and an additional lowering wheel assisting movement of the table, and ensuring that it runs straight. The joints, lifting mechanism, and brackets, remain fully functional “even under the heaviest loads”, while the height, lateral tilt, and Trendelenburg position, can all be easily adjusted via electric motor, as can the longitudinal displacement, leg sections, and back plate.
