BAM Construction in the North West is to deliver new facilities for Aintree Hospital in Liverpool.
The contractor has been chosen to deliver a phased partial refurbishment and partial new build design and build project worth around £15 m, as part of a total project cost of around £20 m. The Accident and Emergency and Medical Admissions Unit will be completely reworked, improving the delivery of services and layout for patients. The company will also deliver a new 24-bed Critical Care Unit.
