Among the expert speakers set to present at two IHEEM Infection Control & Pest Control seminars, entitled ‘The Uninvited Guests’ next month (1 March in Leeds, and 14 March in Birmingham, see also HEJ – January 2012, page 8), will be highly experienced environmental health officer, Roger Hart, who has latterly specialised in food safety, food hygiene, and pest control, advising numerous NHS Trusts, universities, food manufacturers, and offshore oil installations.
IHEEM events/education manager, Siân Barker, says: “Roger Hart’s work has put him ‘on both sides of the fence’, as manager of a council pest control service, as a field biologist for a pest control contractor, in a Cadbury’s factory, and as an auditor. He is looking forward to sharing his knowledge at these two seminars, for which delegate places are still available.” To book, visit: www.iheem.org.uk/events T: 023 9282 3186, or email: sian.barker@iheem.org.uk
