Alison Ryan, an executive mechanical engineer at DSSR Consulting Engineers in Harrogate, who is an honours Graduate with as BSc in Physics, a Chartered Engineer, and a member (MIHEEM) of both IHEEM and CIBSE, is the new chair of the Institute’s Yorkshire Branch.
Also the holder of an MSc (Distinction) in Building Services Engineering Management, she has worked within the building services sector for over a decade after finishing her Physics degree at Leeds University, and has been involved with IHEEM’s Yorkshire Branch since 2009. Her spare-time interests include running, travelling, and socialising.
