A new range of unvented cylinders for commercial and large residential projects has been introduced by Heatrae Sadia. Megaflo Commercial is available with a lead time of just two weeks from order, and has 24 variants.
Capacities range from 400 to 2,500 litres; there are direct and direct versions, while eight of the cylinders, in capacities of 400 to 2,500 litres, can be used with solar thermal or heat pump technologies. To increase storage capacity, any of the cylinders can be installed in parallel, in any combination. The cylinders deliver hot water at up to 90 litres per minute, and can heat up to 2,500 litres in under 60 minutes. Offering either a 6 bar or a ‘unique’ 10 bar operating pressure, they are tested to 22.5 bar, and the temperature and pressure relief valve can be set at 15 bar. Megaflo Commercial is manufactured from marine-grade stainless steel, making it extremely strong, durable, and corrosion-resistant, and eliminating the need for a sacrificial anode, thus reducing maintenance, and enabling Heatrae Sadia to offer a 10-year anticorrosion warranty.
