No slip-ups when budgets are tight

Polyflor says its new Polysafe Ecomax heavy-duty safety vinyl flooring, available in 12 shades, ‘combines uncompromising levels of slip resistance with best value pricing’..

 Designed to meet the needs of typical safety flooring environments, Ecomax ‘features the solid construction of Polyflor XL with safety aggregates to offer a specially engineered safety surface’. It complies fully with HSE guidelines, and adheres to EN 13845 – the European standard for safety flooring. The range achieves 36+ on the Pendulum wet test, with a surface roughness of 20 microns and above. Simon James, Polyflor’s marketing manager, said: “Now is the perfect time to introduce a safety vinyl product that will help ease the strain on budgets, but still offers a durable, easy-to-clean walking surface, with sustainable slip resistance properties.” Ecomax is manufactured using on average 25% recycled material, and is 100% recyclable through Recofloor, the industry vinyl take-back scheme of which Polyflor is a founder and funding member
