ISS’s £100 m London contract win

ISS Facility Services Healthcare is to deliver soft FM services to the Fulham Road Collaborative, comprising three London NHS Trusts and the Institute of Cancer Research, under a contract worth £100 million.

NHS Foundation Trusts at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, The Royal Marsden, Royal Brompton & Harefield, and the Institute of Cancer Research, worked together on a competitive tender process for the new contract. David Probert, COO at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, said: “This project is a great example of how healthcare organisations can work together to make the best use of resources while maintaining excellent standards of care.” Simon Cox, managing director, ISS Facility Services Healthcare, added: “The Collaboration’s approach really challenged us to deliver more for less, while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.” Therese Davis, chief nurse, and director of Patient Experience and Flow at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, said the new contract would ‘result in significant cost and efficiency savings, while maintaining the quality of service that patients expect when they come to our hospitals”.
