In another sphere – Planet’s HefmA success

Members of the ‘Planet’ team from Qube Global Software say they had a successful HefmA 2012 show, and enjoyed meeting a wide variety of healthcare sector personnel.

The company says its expertise in CAFM software, and the functionality of its products, have seen it become the largest provider of such software to the NHS.

Its customers include 70 UK hospitals and NHS Trusts.

“Planet helps estates and facilities teams save time and money while improving service,” explains Qube. “It does this by providing:
• Effective asset management.
• Efficient reactive and planned maintenance scheduling.
• Health and safety compliance, including on Legionella, asbestos, risk assessments, and COSHH.
• In-house and external resource management,
• Detailed condition surveys and subsequent action plans,
• Business intelligence via ‘quick and easy reports’.”

At HefmA 2012, the team was also invited to the HefmA awards evening, where team members were delighted that a Planet user was among the winners. Pam Miller, associate director of Facilities at The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, received the Facilities Manager of the Year award.

As a leading CAFM software supplier, with over 35 years’ experience, Qube Global Software says it offers ‘complete solutions’ to all facilities managers with its Planet product, adding: “Implemented in over 300 organisations across industry, commerce, NHS, and the public sector, Planet is now available ‘in the cloud’, meaning customers can be assured that they will always have the most up-to-date FM software, tailored to suit their estate.”
