Aid Call says wireless nurse call is ‘safe, reliable and proven’, with over 3,000 systems installed nationwide, and claims such systems offer ‘fast and easy installation, at a fraction of the cost of a wired system’.
The company said: “Wireless technology offers greater flexibility, and significantly reduces installation costs. Because the system is radio-based, it is infinitely changeable and expandable.” The Aid Call Touchsafe system reportedly incorporates ‘the most advanced two-way radio technologies’, featuring automatic acceptance, and ‘Listen Before Talk’ anticollision, as well as ‘meeting the highest Class 1 European safety-critical accreditation’. All touchable elements are embedded with antimicrobial additives ‘to ensure extra patient safety’.
