Biomaster Antimicrobial Technology says that medical products, touch surfaces, and facilities, incorporating Biomaster additives are afforded ‘roundthe- clock protection’ against bacterial build-up from ‘harmful species’ such as MRSA, E. coli, and Legionella.
The company explained: “Added during the manufacturing stage, Biomaster becomes an integral part of the end product, giving safe, effective, and permanent antimicrobial protection throughout the additive’s active life.” Biomaster protection is based on ‘proven silver ion technology’, with independent tests on treated products having demonstrated ‘a quick reduction of bacterial load by up to 99.99%’. The antimicrobial additives are FDA, EPA, and BPD/Rregistered.
