Planetsaver offers LED flat panels, retrofit lamps, and luminaries, fitted with Planetsaver ‘Dims to Low’ technology, which it says can help user organisations ensure that previously dark areas can remain lit even when people are not using them, ‘while reducing energy costs by up to 90 per cent’.
The company said: “Lighting is such an important part of safety and security. Unlit corridors, car parks, and rooms, can cause anxiety, lead to accidents, and even make areas less safe. However, keeping the lights on costs money, and balancing safety, security, and economics, has historically been difficult. This task is now considerably easier; lighting products incorporating Dims to Low technology work by operating the lamp at full brightness when people are present, but reducing its output when they are not.”
