Demonstrating ‘the power of CHP’

ENER-G will demonstrate its new range of combined heat and power (CHP) solutions, ‘especially adapted for the NHS’.

The company said: “According to an NHS SDU report, CHP offers NHS England ‘the most significant impact on operational costs and carbon’. ENER-G Combined Power has a proven track record in delivering energy projects across a variety of NHS Trusts, and to more than 50 hospitals.” These hospitals include Birmingham Heartlands – where, under a pilot NHS Carbon and Energy Fund scheme, ENER-G designed, built, and installed, a complete Energy Centre (pictured) through the public-private partnership funding mechanism, ‘with guaranteed savings’. The Centre, operated and maintained by ENER-G, delivers critical power, heating, and cooling. As part of an ‘integrated energy management approach’, ENER-G also replaced ‘ageing’ lighting throughout the hospital.
