Water and water treatment specialist, SMS Environmental, originally formed in the summer of 2001 by a group of process scientists and engineers, says it ‘knows its water’, and ‘what should, and what shouldn’t be, in it’.
Since the company’s establishment 12 years ago, the SMS Environmental team has provided ‘cutting-edge’ Legionella testing and risk assessments, and treatment systems to clients closely monitoring their water to ensure that their systems are kept in safe, optimal condition. This year, SMS says it has become the first company to offer Legionella awareness training that is IHEEM-recognised, and conforms to the HSE and Department of Health guidelines, ‘L8’, and HTM 04-01. SMS will showcase its new training programme, alongside its ‘web-based’ Legionella management software, Opuz 12. A discount on training packages will be available to IHEEM members attending the event.
