Three ‘innovative new product ranges’ which the company says will ‘strengthen its market leading-position’ in the design and manufacture of anti-ligature fittings for mental healthcare settings, will be shown by Primera:
• Twin-Tech (pictured), a sliding anti-barricade lock mechanism which accelerates clinical staff access in the event of an emergency, and, Primera says, ‘adds design flair to minimise institutional appearance’.
• Life-Line, a new closed key-way system ‘less prone to the possibilities of the service user jamming foreign objects inside to prevent clinical staff access’. The Life-Line key has ‘endless possibilities’, and Primera says it expects it to become an industry standard, capable of operating door locks, viewing panels, removable door stops, ‘and many more key-operated devices designed for use in mental health’.
• CLIK, a stylish new range of anti-ligature load-release products said to give designers ‘a selection of colour options to further enhance the built mental health environment’. CLIK products have been tested to the DHF TS001 2013 standard, ‘passing at the highest level’.
