For Static Systems, this year’s Healthcare Estates event provided an opportunity to highlight its Fusion-IP ‘family’ of nurse call solutions.
Visitors were invited to see how Fusion-IP has expanded, Static Systems claims, ‘to accommodate the communication needs of all healthcare environments; ranging from simple systems for smaller community hospitals and treatment centres, to hi-tech new-build schemes employing the latest IP technologies’.
The company also showcased a number of new products, including ‘Fusion-IP Aspire’, a radio-based nurse call system, ‘Ventura’ horizontal bedhead services trunking, and ‘Fusion-Centra’ fire maintenance software.
The company said: “Aspire nurse call is ideally suited to low acuity environments such as hospices, day care facilities, and care homes, or as a temporary system for use during ward upgrades. It complements Ultima – the ultimate bedside IP solution, Optima – a fully structured wired solution, and Codem – a ward upgrade solution.”
All solutions in the Fusion-IP family can operate independently, or as one integrated system with connection via a TCP/IP connection through an Ethernet switch.
‘Clever and innovative new design touches and cost effective construction’ feature strongly in the development of Ventura. Suitable for both on-site and off-site construction, the modular system can be easily expanded or modified by ‘stacking’ together compartments as required.
Part of the 900evo fire alarm system range, Fusion-Centra is designed to reduce overheads and maintenance costs on sites employing multiple panels.
Static Systems was also presented with the IHEEM Marketing Award at the Institute’s 2013 Annual Awards Dinner, which created additional excitement on the stand.
Managing Director, Adrian Turner, said: “For us, the exhibition was really important, and the feedback we got was excellent. The effort and investment in the exhibition was endorsed by us receiving the IHEEM 2013 Marketing Award. This award, in my opinion, has been earned by all of the teams and departments at the company who have worked together, and is a credit to their hard work.”
Commenting on the exhibition, Static Systems’ director of Marketing, Phil Wade, said: “The healthcare environment is changing, and therefore so must our products. During the past 12 months our in-house product specialists, designers, and software engineers, have worked to provide new, innovative products. This year’s event was an exciting opportunity for us to introduce these developments, and to reaffirm our position at the forefront of healthcare communications.”
