As the operator of ‘the world’s largest fleet of temporary surgical facilities’, Vanguard Healthcare says its 41-strong fleet of lorry-borne surgical units has constantly to ‘connect’ to different water sources in different locations.

‘Necessarily, and alongside air-quality and other rigorous infection control systems’, it has developed ‘world-class processes’ to meet both HTM 2030 and CFPP01-06 standards for endoscopy environments, and L8 regulations in other clinical areas to prevent Legionella or Pseudomonas outbreaks.

CEO, Ian Gillespie, said: “Bacterial control is in our DNA, so it’s a process we’re used to addressing, and indeed we surpass industry standards. We’re passionate about providing healthcare professionals with the best technology and decontamination services available – including HTM 2030- compliant reverse osmosis water systems in the endoscopy units.”
