Exhibiting at the UK’s largest trade show for the healthcare estates sector, Assa Abloy will show, for the first time, its newly-formed UK Specification unit.
Among products showcased will be Assa’s SMARTair and CLIQ remote door opening solutions, and the company’s cylinder and thumbturns. Offering privacy to clients, while ensuring that staff can gain entry at all times, these have proven particularly popular within secure accommodation for those with who are mentally unwell.
Also featured will be anti-ligature handles developed by CLCS for secure accommodation, and Assa Abloy’s range of door closers, designed to help specifiers meet criteria set out under The Equality Act (EA), BS8300, and Approved Document M of The Building Regulations
The company added: “The one-handed operation of Codehandle, which provides convenient, secure access very simply using a number code, will demonstrate our UNION brand’s ability to combine convenience with access control.”
