OJEU-compliant energy services

Laser, a central purchasing body wholly- owned by Kent County Council (KCC), is now offering NHS Trusts UK-wide ‘an alternative end-to-end energy procurement and management service’.

Established in 1989 to manage KCC’s energy purchasing, Laser has grown to become the South-East’s largest energy buying group, managing OJEU- compliant energy contracts worth over £350 million per annum. Its wide range of services gives NHS Trusts ‘the flexibility to choose only the services they require to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and ensure compliance, providing total energy cost control across their entire estate’.

Laser added: “Customers can benefit from lower energy prices through existing fixed or flexible frameworks, invoice validation and bill payment services, energy bureau and customer helpdesk services, Carbon Reduction Commitment support, DEC certification, and LED lighting surveys and installation.
