Urmet Domus has introduced an induction loop amplifier module that can be built into its external range of door entry systems.
The unit requires a simple connection to the normal intercom power feed and an interconnection to the existing Urmet speaker module to function. Standing in close proximity to the door station any received audio on the door station is then heard via a hearing aid in addition to the normal speaker reception.
The first site in the UK to be fitted with the new module is the Embankment Centre, Thurnscoe Sure Start Children’s Centre in Rotherham.
