Building on its success ‘over many years’ in the mental healthcare market, Fendor will launch a new ‘stripped back’ window, CareVent, aimed at general hospitals and other care facilities, which it describes as its ‘answer to standard double glazing’, offering ‘strength and longevity, thermal performance, and additional security features’
The company said: “Manufactured to the highest standards using thermally broken aluminium profile, which can be painted any colour, and will not discolour over time, CareVent provides peace of mind in general areas where patient safeguarding is a concern; the window is suitable for dementia-friendly health and social care environments.”
Fendor says CareVent is already attracting recognition, and has been ‘well received’; the window has already being installed by Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
