St Mary’s Health Centre in Penwortham near Preston has reduced its annual gas consumption by 52,000 kWh after replacing its existing building management system with a Priva Blue ID BMS.
Priva UK said: “The move has resulted in a 22% saving on the facility’s yearly gas bill, and introduced class-leading reliability and ease-of-use.”
“The previous BMS at St Mary’s was constantly breaking down, and the front end was far too complicated,” said John Allen, engineering manager at Rydon, the appointed maintenance company at the health centre. “I had a recommendation that Priva technology was good value for money, reliable, and easy to use. In fact, I found that the quote for installing a new Priva system was almost the same as buying two replacement controllers from the existing BMS supplier.”
