Healthcare uniforms evolve from beauty sector

Grahame Gardner’s new P785 tunic was originally designed for use within the beauty industry but is now available for nurses and healthcare managers.

The new tunic, which has been slightly altered to make it more appropriate for healthcare use, incorporates a mandarin style collar and side opening detail. In addition to fashionable pearl press studs, the tunic also has three internal buttons to give the wearer greater security and is available in a choice of nine colours.

Simon Ward, sales director at Grahame Gardner, said, “The healthcare uniform market has been static for some time now and this new tunic represents a revitalised approach to workwear. Although the tunic has a contemporary style, it co-ordinates with our existing healthcare garments, and will integrate well with our trousers and other tunics.”

As with all of Grahame Gardner’s range, the P785 is available in a choice of fabrics and colours. The pictured style is stocked in flexi-stretch, which offers that extra movement essential for healthcare workers. The garment can also be produced in several other fabrics, including Assure, Grahame Gardner’s antibac fabric.
