Performance Panel Solutions has launched the FireWall panel system, a range of pre-finished panels for non-loadbearing internal partition walls, where tested fire resistance is required.
The panels are manufactured from two galvanised polyester-coated steel sheets bonded to a mineral wool insulation core. Mineral wool offers superior fire performance, as it is a non-combustible material, rated Euroclass A1 – the highest European classification available.
The FireWall system is easy to install, and does not require specialist assistance. The interlocking joint detail on each panel means there is no need to seal any joints, so no wet trades are required on site. Openings for doors or internal windows can be easily cut out and fixtures slotted into place.
As the panels are prefinished follow-on trades can start as soon as the walls are erected.
