James Spencer & Co, the healthcare furniture and associated equipment manufacturer, has enhanced its product ranges.
New rise/reclining chairs have now been added to the bariatric range, while a new re-hab products brochure has been launched, featuring an array of commodities and targeting hospital Trusts, community loan stores, occupational therapists, wheelchair service centres and The British Red Cross.
The Pentire range of hospital bedside chairs has also been enhanced with a new pressure-relieving chair, while the popular Singleton range of reclining mobile day chairs has been upgraded to meet modern-day requirements.
Chairman Richard Spencer said: “Our healthcare furniture products are purposedesigned for their durability, with many independently tested to carry up to 100 stones in weight. Other features include replacement upholstery, allowing products to be used time and time again and providing major costsaving and environmental benefits.
“In addition, health and safety issues are key to our philosophy. For example, most of our furniture ranges come with ‘hygiene gaps’, which allows thorough cleaning to reduce cross-infection. Fabrics are waterproof, stain resistant and anti-fungal.
“Many products also have inbuilt ‘housekeeping’ wheels, so they can be wheeled to different locations.”
