Medi-Cell Solutions was formed in 2004 to meet the modular off-site construction needs of the healthcare sector.
The company’s flagship project is the new Short Stay Unit at Nottingham City Hospital. This includes an operating theatre with pre-op and post-op facilities and a 10-bed recovery ward area with ensuite facilities. The project is costing in total £2 million and provides new levels of patient care.
The company has completed a new modular twin theatre with laminar flow at Benenden Hospital in Kent. Medi-Cell provided a complete turnkey solution including all planning consents, ground works and enabling work at the hospital.
The new theatres were completed on schedule and opened in September 2006.
