Assa extends door closer range

The rack and pinion door closer benefits from a special tamper-proof arm created for use on external and internal fire doors. The closer has an adjustable strength function with a rating of 3-5 in accordance to BS EN 1154, as well as modifying closing and latching speeds.

Fitted with Backcheck, the mechanism acts as a brake at an 80° angle to prevent damage to the adjacent wall and is particularly effective in areas of high wind pressure and heavy usage.

The compact design ensures the doors remain light, and an optional delayed closing feature significantly reduces the speed of the door’s closing action, enabling safe exits for children and people with limited mobility.

The closer is available in a range of finishes, including metallic, RAL colours and stainless steel. It has been tested and approved to the relevant British and European standards and is supplied with a ten year performance guarantee.
