While time flow taps are used increasingly in commercial and public buildings, both for water and energy savings and to address growing concerns about possible cross-contamination, the hand pressure required to operate them can present difficulties for the very young or old.
The “Temposoft” and “Temposoft AB” basin taps feature a push action “twice as soft” as other time flow taps, and self-close after a nominal 15 seconds to prevent cross-contamination. With a regulated flow rate of 4 litres/min, water savings of approximately 70% can be achieved compared with a traditional basin tap, says the company.
With similar features, the Temposoft Basin Mixer also features a side manual temperature selector, a regulated flow rate of 6 litres/min, stainless steel flexible connectors with filters, non-return check valves and stopcocks, and reinforced fixing.
Temposoft products are precisionengineered in a smart, chrome-plated heavy brass design, and endurance tested for over 500,000 cycles.
