St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London has specified Leaderflush Shapland Plasform Unique doorsets for its new oncology unit.
The Plasform Unique doorsets were supplied constructed to FD30 and FD60 fire resistance criteria, using both the Cleanglaze and Flushglaze glazing systems. Cleanglaze provides a seamless, fully sealed vision panel, where the whole door face is covered in one single material, while Flushglaze rebated acrylic outer glazing panels provide a completely flush joint.
Plasform Unique is “especially well-suited” to applications where hygiene is paramount. Its flush surface creates a “low maintenance, easy to clean, durable finish, which does not support bacterial growth”.
