Door producer sets up UK office

Justin Lamba, market manager for the UK and Southern Irish markets, says that, to date, Markus has focussed principally on the Netherlands and Benelux markets, with a market penetration of circa 85% in the respective hospital and healthcare sectors. Markus specialises in supplying and fitting high quality hermetic, acoustic, radiation, fire, cold room and DIY sector doors.

Typical European healthcare applications include operating theatres, intensive care units, consultation rooms, first aid areas, radiology and MRI-scanner departments, and wards.

The company’s range includes hermetic OT doors, radiation doors (up to 40 mm lead), acoustic doors up to 55 dBa, fire retarding doors, and airtight doors up to 150 Pa. Much of the range comprises sliding doors – a natural result, the company says, of the intrinsic compatibility of sliding and hermetic door design features.

Markus also supplies more “conventional” hinged doors. All products are manufactured to order.
