Codelocks’ new 10-button CL1000 Cabinet Lock is a keyless electronic lock which should “make the headache of lost keys, the difficulties of safekeeping of patients’ personal possessions, and the security of drugs, a thing of the past”.
Programme levels include Master Code, Sub-Master Code and User Code. Master Code allows managers to programme and set the lock into either of its two modes of operation. The default Multiple User Code allows repeated use with the User Code – ideal for individual users. The second mode, One-Time User Code (or Locker) mode, offers a single-use code setting facility, for single opening by an individual user. The codes are then erased, to be reset by the next user.
Master and Sub-Master Codes are easily set to allow locks to be managed simply and effectively. Up to 10,000 four-digit user codes are available.
