A robot that disperses a non-toxic/ non-corrosive ionised dry mist of two active ingredients, H202 and silver ions, to attack and kill a wide range of pathogens, including MRSA, C. difficile, E. coli, norovirus and VRE, will be shown on the Hygienics Biosecurity stand.
Aimed at combating the continued threat of healthcareacquired infections, the new BioGienie hydrogen peroxide vaporisation (HPV) robot uses a low concentration of H202, as well as being light and high manoeuvrable. These factors make it safer for staff to operate, and (Hygienics Biosecurity claims), “much quicker and more cost-effective than similar products, enabling an average sized ward to be decontaminated within just three hours”.
