Wiltshire-based C2 EMD claims its CCA HP air recirculation module “inexpensively” removes all viruses, bacteria and spores, including Aspergillus, as well as noxious smells and chemical spills.
The company says: “Conventional thinking has been to dismiss air as a transmission path for disease, despite clear evidence that there is an airborne aspect in terms of indirect contact, droplet and vector transmission paths, and the obvious airborne route. Surfaces receive their main contamination via airborne deposit, and many diseases are carried on dust and skin particles. Yet modern medicine has resisted using clean air until the technology caught up. “When an area can be shown to be effectively sterile then rapid payback, often of under 30 days, can be achieved using our CCA HP air recirculation module. Via our three-phase approach internal sterility can be maintained while preventing bacteria ingress or egress from the area using sterile positive or negative pressure.”
