Dale Power Solutions (referred to incorrectly in the May 2010 issue of HEJ as “Dale Erskine Power Solutions”) says its E Series UPS 1 integrated UPS and generator solutions provide “no-break” power, protecting users against costly outages and downtime.
UPS system features include internal failsafe bypass, extended run times, and high input power factor, while, “with maximum reliability and power availability”, users can connect several units in parallel. The E Series also features multilanguage touchscreen displays, remote monitoring, an advanced IGBT rectifier, and back-feed protection. The company said: “The E series uses double conversion technology (VFI), with the load powered continuously by the inverter. This guarantees the critical UPS load receives a stable, clean, regulated sinusoidal power supply. Meanwhile a modular approach to the E500 series system design includes ‘hot-swappable’ modules, ensuring maximum uptime. Safe removal and insertion of the UPS modules ensure no risk to the critical load.”
