Energy savings “of up to 70%”, built-in scald protection, easy temperature selection for those with restricted hand use, thanks to “wing-shaped, easy to grasp” controls, and an “anti-tamper setting” of 38°C are among features of Contour Showers’ new Eco-save “energy and water-saving mixer shower”.
Claimed to be the market’s only thermostatic and pressure balancing sustainable mixer shower, the Eco-save has also been designed to be “the safest, anti-scald, value-for-money mixer shower available”, having undergone WRAS approval and been NHS DO8 & TMV3-approved. The “smart design” compensates for fluctuation in incoming water temperatures and/or pressure to stabilise the shower temperature, even if a tap is turned on in another room, while if cold water pressure fails, the thermostat reacts and closes the water flow within 0.2 seconds to prevent scalding.
