New electronic taps, and urinal and WC controls that “combine hygienic touch-free operation with innovative water-saving technology”, will be shown by Thomas Dudley.
The vandal-resistant taps feature a discreet sensor for touch-free operation, and switch off automatically, reducing flooding risk and preventing water wastage. The ElectrofloHygiene wall-mounted tap aids after-use drainage to prevent growth and spread of waterborne bacteria. Powered by 9V battery or mains/transformer, the Electroflo Urinal wall-mounted flushing control can be activated by flush plate or sensor, while the Electroflo WC is “ideal for less able users”, and provides water-saving “dualflush” flushing via one single infra-red sensor, which also informs users when a full or reduced flush is being delivered, and when the cistern is refilling.
