Spanish vending machine specialist Jofemar has launched the Series 2 version of its best-selling hot food merchandiser, the Gourmet, distributed in the UK by subsidiary, Jofemar UK. New features include fresh contemporary livery, improved graphics, and enhanced LED back lighting.
Described as “an advanced hot food vending machine with built-in microwave oven, well suited to self-service”, the machine will dispense any hot product within 60 seconds, and can vend hot foods including ready meals, pizzas, hot sandwiches, baguettes, ciabattas, and other “fresh from the oven” foodstuffs – up to 22 selections in total. It is available with or without refrigerator unit to serve ambient, or chilled, food. The Series 2’s cabinet is finished in “a sophisticated light grey”, with an “aesthetically pleasing” graphic filigree picked out in white on the right-hand side. In addition, the larger LED-backlit promotional panel gives greater impact.
