Firex success for C-TEC

Life-safety equipment manufacturer, C-TEC, has hailed its presence at this summer’s Firex 2011 event “a huge success”; it celebrated its 30th anniversary with an extensive array of new fire alarm control panels, call systems, and power supplies.

Andrew Foster, MD, said: “Firex 2011 was our busiest exhibition yet, and we were delighted by the visitor volume. The feedback on our latest batch of new products was excellent.” New products shown included “newstyle, super-enhanced” CFP and XFP fire panels, new additions to the 800 Series call system range, and dementia care solutions for the Quantec addressable call system. Designed “to help save staff time, minimise disturbance, and improve the quality of patient care”, Quantec (pictured) can be utilised to facilitate full compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act and BS8300, offers flexible call routing, multiple call levels, a “unique” data protocol that “operates via just two wires” (power and data), and a laptop-programmable system controller. C-TEC also previewed its new range of multi-loop, touchscreen-controlled, analogue fire panels.
