Static Systems Group will show, for the first time, several exciting advances for its Fusion-IP nurse call system, including “a major breakthrough in real-time location systems (RTLS)”.
The new Fusion-IP RTLS Staff Attack Alarm, being launched at the show, uses “intelligent” ultrasound technology for greater location accuracy in “real time”, with the wearer’s identity also provided. The company said: “Ultrasound bounces off hard surfaces, and does not penetrate through glazing, helping to contain the signal to a very specific area. It is also immune to interference from electromagnetic noise and light sources.” The latest SSG Fusion-IP nurse call system, meanwhile, “brings IP and two-way speech (SIP) right to the bedside”, complementing the system’s many other features, which include “wandering patient”, slips and trips monitoring, wireless nurse call, bed status, and remote access.
