Stanley Security Solutions will show its integrated wireless messaging system for hospitals and nursing homes, which “focuses on getting critical messages to the right responders in the right format over a wide choice of radio systems”, and its Acoustic Monitoring system, which raises an alarm when the noise level in a room exceeds pre-set thresholds, allowing a voice connection to be established.
A carer can then speak directly to the patient using, for example, a cordless telephone. The new Pace Pro call confirmation pager allows a paging call to be acknowledged, allowing an operator to keep track of who has responded, and instigate appropriate escalation procedures. Stanley’s Pace WiFi mobile integrates messaging, alarms, voice, and video, into one hand-held device. Integration with the company’s DECT systems allows alarms to be sent to and from cordless telephones.
