Lighting specialist Exled says that, although LED floodlighting has been “a while in the making” – largely because LEDs could not compete against the strength of sodium bulbs in casting their light source the same distance, “especially outside” – the situation has now changed.
The company’s Comet lighting system, for instance, is said to offer “the perfect solution” to illuminate exterior facades and car parks. With an “exceptional” light output of 5,600 Lumens and just 60 W energy consumption, the Comet is “robust”, IP65-rated, easy to install, runs for 30,000 hours, and has a two-year warranty. Exled can design and manufacture LED lighting solutions to order, and provides a project evaluation service to help users assess how LED lighting can benefit their organisation.
