Tor Coatings’ new Torsan high performance paints feature SteriTouch antimicrobial technology.
Aimed primarily at specifiers in hygienesensitive industries such as healthcare and catering, Torsan products reportedly offer “unrivalled levels of protection from harmful bacteria, and mould in as little as two hours”. Independently laboratory tested and shown to be “99.99% effective” against pathogens including MRSA, E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria, Torsan is also “proven” against Aspergillus niger, which the company points out is thought to aggravate respiratory illness.
