UK-based SAS International has added new models to its range of acoustic lighting rafts. The new SAS System 600 items are suspended directly from an open soffit or within coffers, providing a pre-fabricated lighting and acoustic solution for environments including those of hospitals. Manufactured from metal, System 600’s durable finish provides a cost-effective solution while reducing whole life costs.

Surveillance cuts vandalism
Remote video surveillance has dramatically improved after-hours security at the John Telford Clinic in Ilford, Essex. After numerous incidents of vandalism, the clinic’s security was upgraded to monitored CCTV, using Secom’s Vision service. As a result, criminal activity and attacks on the building have virtually stopped.
